OUR STORY
Operating as AptsColombia, we begun life as a single destination provider with a hand-picked selection of furnished apartments, initially for leisure guests. As Bogotá became an important business hub, we pivoted to receive corporate guests and brought our property management in-house to ensure consistently high standards.
In response to increasing demand from multinational clients and relocation agencies, we expanded our portfolio to include major cities across Colombia including Medellin, Cartagena, Cali and Barranquilla.
An important milestone for the company, and we continue to grow in response to the increasing global demand for alternative accommodation. To strengthen our operation we recruit new team members and increase our office space consolidating our position as the leading corporate housing provider in Colombia.
We make our first booking in Lima, Peru which paths the way for starting operations across the region. Mobility and relocation management companies (RMCs) seek us out for requests in major capital cities and use our bespoke search service to solve their hard to fulfil housing requests in outlying areas.
Our sustainable business model coupled with a focus on outstanding customer service allows us to pass another milestone. Growth in the sector continues to be strong and we focus on expanding our temporary housing portfolio in key cities like Bogotá, Lima and Santiago de Chile.
In response to the global health pandemic, we conducted a full root and branch reform of all our biosecurity protocols to ensure guest and employee health was put front and centre. Our in-house cleaning team retrained in CDC sterilisation processes, we adopted CDC recommended cleaning products (Ecolab) and we implemented contactless Check In / Out procedures.

A pioneering spirit saw Ben relocate from England to Colombia in the early 2000s. Always a passionate entrepreneur, he founded AptsLatam to solve corporate housing needs across South and Central America. Ben’s professionalism, approachability, and creativity has driven the company forward to be recognised as one of the leaders in the alternative accommodation sector in Latin America.
Colombian by birth and a political scientist by profession, in 2013 Jimena found her true passion when she started her career in hospitality and corporate housing. With a keen eye for excellence and attention to detail, Jimena oversees the quality of our supplier network to ensure that every AptsLatam guest receives a best of class experience.
Born and bred in Bogotá Colombia, “Leo” has been with AptsLatam from the very beginning and now heads up the reservations team. Leo is personable, approachable, professional and takes a hands-on approach to his work. He gives peace of mind to everyone of his clients by putting local knowledge and the guest experience at the centre of everything he does.
Angelica hails from the town of Barranquilla on Colombian’s beautiful Caribbean coast and has a genuine drive for finding the perfect home away from home for her corporate clients. Finding innovative housing solutions across Latin America and the Caribbean combines Angela’s two passions of real estate and high end hospitality.
Based in Barranquilla Colombia, Maria Fernanda “Mafe” heads AptsLatam’s Guest Experience team, her superb attention to detail & calm demeanour ensures that guests have a great stress free stay everytime.
Fabi loves nothing more (apart from her beautiful baby girl!) than solving her clients’ housing needs, using her natural drive and passion to deliver innovative and cost effective solutions to complex travel programs.
